The chair pictured is made from UNTREATED southern yellow pine. We've had
many people tell us this is absolutely the strongest built adirondack chair they've ever seen. We made this chair with wide back slats to accommodate large and
small human back structures. The slats are not thin enough to feel with a small
thinner back, nor does it feel like sticks of wood behind larger men's and
women's back structures.
The ergonomics of the design of our chairs was
the stronghold behind building them. Especially when an ottoman is added to the
chair, the slow roll of the front of the chair to the ottoman is simply
luxurious.
